Okullo Moses - POISE Director of Operations for the Country of Uganda

A trained teacher and graduate of St Mary's University of Minnesota, Nairobi Campus-Kenya, Okullo is the Director of Operations for POISE projects and programs in Uganda. A teacher by profession, with several years of experience in classroom teaching, Okullo believes that "the most important thing to be done in the world is to empower everyone through effective education." His duties include: communicating with POISE sponsored students and schools to determine their needs, managing and tracking POISE funds in Uganda to assure transparency and efficient allocation of funds, organizing and developing POISE policies aimed at encouraging students to fulfill their educational commitments and aspirations through POISE support. He has served in his position since November, 2011.
Dawson McCall - Co-Founder & POISE Director of Operations

A World History teacher and Cross Country/Track coach in Bay St Louis,
MS, Dawson is one of POISE's three original founders. He currently
serves as the POISE Director of Operations, and is in charge of POISE
programs supporting the POISE Tuition Assistance Program. Dawson serves
as the head of the POISE Run With Uganda Campaign, a fund-raising
campaign aimed at engaging athletes to use their talents to raise money
in support of educational equality in Uganda. He is a graduate of Loyola
University in New Orleans, LA, where he studied history and played
basketball.
Lorraine Anton - Co-Founder & Director of the POISE Ugandan Women's Program

One of POISE's three original founding members, Lorraine is an artist, writer, and documentary filmmaker. She currently serves as the Director of the POISE Ugandan Women's Program and is in charge of the Ten for Ten Challenge, a fund-raising campaign which challenges individuals to engage their friends, family members, and co-workers to support the women of The Ugandan Women's Program. She will be spending several months in Uganda at the end of 2011 in order to work on a documentary about our POISE programs. She is the producer of Next to the Lake, our flagship informational documentary DVD. She is a graduate of UNO, where she studied Film and English Literature.
